Bubbleworm Bite
Ingredients
200g Butter
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
2 packets of malt biscuits
1 block of milk chocolate
75g of Cashew Nut Butter (Optional)
1 packet of jumbo marshmallows
1 packet of honey roasted peanuts (210g)
1. Crush malt biscuits in a bowl.

2. Melt butter and sweetened condensed milk in a pot being careful not to burn the mix. Using a heatplate makes it easier. Heat until melted and combine but don’t boil.

3. Add melted ingredients to crushed biscuits and mix to combine. Press the mixture into the prepared dish. Allow it to cool and set.

4. Cover base with nut butter or melted chocolate. Cashew nut butter will give you a more authentic BubbleWorm flavour but kids love chocolate too! Spread it generously and evenly. Use 3/4 of the choc block.

5. Halve marshmallows horizontally with a knife. Place marshmallows cut side down over the surface of the base.

6. Turn on the oven grill and sit the dish as close as possible to the grill to toast marshmallows for only a few minutes. Watch closely and once the marshmallows have started to swell and are browned, remove from heat.

7. Place in the fridge to cool and set. Melt remainder of chocolate block and splatter over slice.

If you don’t have access to BubbleWorms or they’re currently out of season you can construct a passable BubbleWorm for the top of your Bite using jumbo marshmallows. We’d love to see your creations if you do! Please share them to our Instagram, Tiktok or Facebook!
